XM Sirius Satelite Radio show The Virus Channel will cover The whole Kong Off to be aired on their show at a later date. Richie Knuckles with Sam and Dave from Special Delivery will be hosting the whole event over the air waves. More to come soon....

Richie Knucklez has been getting a lot of feedback from great DK players that did not make the initial ten. After much consideration I decided to throw a monkey wrench into the contest.
Richie has and is now announcing the introduction of two additional WILD CARD machines. There will be one Red Radarscope Donkey Kong and one Donkey Kong Cocktail machine open for anyone to participate and submit scores on. Here is the lowdown. In addition to admission into The Kong Off, for another $40 a person to sign up for the radarscope DK and $20 to sign up for the cocktail. You will sign your name to an ongoing list. If ten peeps sign up for The Red DK in essence you would be sharing the cab with ten other peeps. Start a game, finish a game, sign your name to the bottom of the list. When your name comes up again, you have one more quarter drop. Repeat.. Repeat all day long....... Duh duh duh.... I will be announcing more surprises as the event nears.

What is The Kong off?
Celebrating Donkey Kong’s 30th Birthday with stars of the hit movie documentary “King of Kong"the top 10 Donkey Kong players in the world will compete over a two day period, March 19th and 20th, 2011 to determine who is the “real” King of Kong. To determine the “True” King of Kong 10 Machines, 10 Top DK Players and 1 Top Score in a live no holds bar event.
Why this event?
The event that is 30 years in the making. No Arcade machine or any video game for that matter has brought on more controversy then the famous “Original” Donkey Kong. It is time to settle the score in a live event.
What is the goal?
The ultimate goal would be to crown not just the king of kong for that day but to break the Guinness Book of world records for the best score in a Live event, video tape or DVD. The ultimate DK show down. No excuses put up or shut up event. Settle it all on “DK Day”. Arma-kong-eddon!
Where is the Event?
Presented by Richie Knucklez’ Arcade Games, in Flemington, NJ, this event will be hosted by the infamous Richie Knucklez and “King of Kong” star, Billy Mitchell. This event will have a record number of participants, sponsors, and prize money, in addition to being broadcast live on Sirius/XM radio’s “Virus” station.
